Earthquake research institute, University of Tokyo is founded in 1925 after the great Kanto earthquake (1923). Based on the memory of understanding with IPGP signed on 2001, two institutes are holding biannual workshop in Tokyo and in Paris, alternatively. There are continuous flow of researchers and students, with a fruit of around twenty publications per year coming from a tight collaboration. This is the ninth edition that will happen in Tokyo. This site is mainly to handle abstract submissions from Parisian side. Since we can expect many contributions, we might need to limit the number of participants. Therefore, we would like you to detail your motivation and existing/potential collaboration status with ERI researchers as well as your financial support from your own projects. The convenors and the committee (Fidel Costa, Éric van Hullebusch, Nobuaki Fuji) will review your contributions. There are three sessions that we identified last year with ERI: AI & innovative instrumentations and methodology (Charles Le Losq/Yuji Itoh) Earth's and planetary interiors (Taichi Kawamura/Kiwamu Nishida) Natural hazards (Nathalie Feuillet/Mie Ichihara). Only IPGP personnels can apply to this.
